International Exposition and Conference on Higher Education: Riyadh (15-18 April)

The conference is organized by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Higher Education. With around 239 universities from around the world present at the exhibition, the event is expected to bring many potential students and their families. Find out more about reserving an exhibition space and about making a workshop reservation. For the exhibition, admission is open to the public and registration is not necessary. On the opening day, attendance is by invitation only.

International Conference on Higher Education: Algeria (18-19 April)

The conference will take place in Sofitel Algiers and will bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and scholars to exchange and share experiences and research results about all aspects of higher education. It will also provide an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of higher education. Going Global: Miami (29 April-1 May)

Going Global is the British Council’s most prestigious global education conference. This year the conference will take place in Miami Beach Convention Center and is expected to be attended by more than 1000 delegates, 250 speakers and over 50 exhibitors from the higher and further education sectors. Content for the conference is built up from proposals from the sector, around the themes of inclusion, innovation and impact reflecting on some key issues in TVET (Technical and vocational education and training).

NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo: San Diego (25-30 May)

Organized by NAFSA, the annual conference will explore the theme: Pathways to Global Competence, offering a chance for experts and seasoned peers to learn ways of becoming more globally aware and connected through international education.

Libya Higher Education and Development Forum: London (5 – 6 June)

The event will take place in Hilton London Paddington Hotel. It will focus on advancing and further developing the education infrastructure within Libya through engaging keynote speakers and interactive panel discussions with advisers and experts from UK academics. In addition to discussing opportunities for the Libyan education sector to raise its standards, special concentration will be given to seeking ways to ensure that Libyan students have access to leaders in the best education sectors.

Second Arab-Euro Conference on Higher Education: Amman, Jordan (10-12 June)

Organized jointly by the Princess Sumaya University for Technology, the European University Association, the University of Barcelona and the Association of Arab Universities, the conference will bring together university representatives from Europe and the Arab world to discuss higher education trends in both regions, particularly with regards to student and staff mobility and its relevance in intra-regional and bi-regional cooperation.
