Description
The University of St. Andrews, in Scotland, has launched a new Sanctuary Scholarship, specifically designed to support undergraduate and postgraduate applicants who are seeking sanctuary in the United Kingdom.
The scholarship is available for all subjects, is annual, and covers tuition fees plus a maintenance stipend of up to £7,500 per year.

Eligibility
The Sanctuary Scholarship is open to any applicant who has an official Home Office status as one of the following:
– Asylum Seeker
– Refugee
– Humanitarian protection
– Limited leave to remain
– Discretionary leave to remain
How to Apply
Please apply for the scholarship after you have submitted your application for a place at St. Andrews. You do not need to wait until you have received an offer of a place before applying for the scholarship.
The Sanctuary Scholarship is available to complete and submit through “My application, Scholarships and Funding — View my funding applications.”
After you have applied to a new course, you will be provided with login details for the “My application” portal. If you meet the general criteria you will be given access to the St. Andrews Entrant Bursary application form within “View my funding applications.”
You must complete and submit the application before the deadline to be considered for this award.
